Experienced support worker required to take on a team leader position within an already established team for a 11-year-old boy who has Global Developmental Delay and Cerebral Palsy living in the Shrewsbury area.
About the Role:
Are you an enthusiastic, caring, and proactive individual looking to make a real difference in a child’s life? This exciting Team Leader opportunity offers the chance to work with a bright, playful young boy with Cerebral Palsy who lives in a warm, loving, and supportive family environment on a beautiful non-working farm. You’ll play a key role in helping him achieve his rehabilitation goals through fun, engaging activities that make therapy come to life, from outdoor play and sports to creative games and communication practice. With a lively home atmosphere and a close-knit, welcoming family, this is a truly rewarding role where every day brings new opportunities for joy, progress, and connection.
This position would be ideal for a psychology graduate or anyone passionate about working in neurorehabilitation. You’ll work alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team; including a Speech and Language Therapist, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, and Clinical Psychologist, receiving full training and ongoing supervision to integrate therapy goals into daily life. The role combines hands-on support, structured planning, and plenty of playful interaction, offering an invaluable foundation for developing clinical and therapeutic skills in a nurturing, family centred setting. If you’re energetic, empathetic, and ready to grow within a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.
